Blogging is my business, and when you’re trying to run a business it always helps when you can have every tool you need right at your fingertips.
It’s for this very reason, I sat down yesterday and created what I call “My Digital Dashboard”. It’s almost like having your own personal secretary to run and get things for you when you need it.
I tried using bookmarking websites, the bookmarks toolbar in firefox, and many other tools, but nothing offered the quick and easy (all tools on the table) approach I was looking for. So I created this, and I’m currently working on a version that you can use right out of the box.
Here’s a little video preview of “My Digital Dashboard”:

Brilliant! Of course I would be interested. Having access to all that I do daily in one spot would save me tons of time. Time is huge. I recently lost loads of info on my laptop, that I saved on bookmarks etc. Would this be something you can log into?
I couldn’t really see much detail in the presentation but it sounds like a great idea. I use Delicious similarly. Saves a great deal of time. I’ll help spread the word!

I think this looks promising. I like the idea and would love to give it a try. When will you have a beta version? If you need a tester, just shoot me an email. Keep up the good work!
Hey Stephen – I think you were right – everyone is going to want your Digital Dashboard!
It sounds like a wonderful tool. I’d love to have the various sites I use to create a post at my fingertips, rather than having to open a new window to search for a site.
Very cool idea.

Looks like a promising idea. I do something similar using iGoogle. I have a tab set up for my online marketing work and use a number of ‘enhanced bookmarks’ widgets to store all my links. Every time I find a new online tool or useful website I add it to the relevant widget.
I am a newbie but I feel this is a great tool. I want it. Please let me know when available.
Thanks.
