Have you every noticed yourself getting lost in saying, “They did this, or they did that, or did you see what happened on their blog?”

It’s a cycle we all get ourselves into at some point in our lives, whether it’s something dealing with the internet or just our everyday physical lives.

I’m really excited about this blog and about helping to give others my opinions on how to make money online. Even if only one person uses it and succeeds, then I’ve done my job. But everyday it seems I’m finding myself excitedly telling my wife about some of the different things going on in the blogging world. About how John Chow has a new design, and about how Shoemoney is giving away a macbook and a free trip to the Think Tank in California.

I’m always saying, “They did this, or they did that, or did you see what happened on their blog.”

What about me? What about saying, “I did this, or I did that, or did you see what happened on my blog?”

Maybe it sounds a bit conceited, and so we tend to shy away from saying things like this. But maybe it’s just the thing we all need to be doing to help us succeed at whatever it is that we are striving to do. Something that helps motivate us, or helps us keep our focus on what we’re doing rather than what others are doing and only wishing that it could be us.

It can be us. It can be you!

From now on, I want you to start saying, “I did this, or I did that, or did you see what happened on my blog?” Try it for the next week or month or year, and let me know what changes it makes in your goals.
