In a world where mobile internet surfing and text messaging is becoming the way to do things, it only seems fitting that you try to capitalizing on this thriving industry.

There are many programs that let you create blog for readers to visit on their computer, and there are many programs and plugins that allow your blog to be easily viewable on mobile phones. So where does that leave us?

A program that lets you send your newest blog posts via free text messages!  A program that I’m currently making $50 a month from with only 3 subscribers.

TxtVox is just the program. This company supports all the major players in mobile technology (i.e. Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, etc.).

Sign up as a publisher, create your subscribe widget, or banner, then place it on your blog. You can also link it to your feedburner account, so you can still keep track of the number of subscribers.

Oh, but wait! TxtVox doesn’t stop at only sending text messages of your blog to subscriber’s phones, they also display an advertisement on each post. This is how they make their money, and how you make money as well. TxtVox gives you a 50% revenue share of every ad click they get from the ads they send with each of your posts.

So, we have a service that not only lets you gain subscribers via text messaging, but also allows you to monetize those text messages.

It doesn’t get any better than that!

If you’re interested in seeing how it works before signing up, click my “Read on My Mobile Phone” button in my upper left subscribe section and subscribe to my blog via text messaging.
