Jeremy over at Shoemoney.com is giving away an all inclusive paid vacation to the SEO Think Tank this year, and everyone’s invited… to participate in the contest that is.  So here’s my post on what I think I can contribute.

First I’d like to say… I don’t think I could contribute much in the department of knowlege or wisdom about the topic.  It seems that if only the high end guys are attending, they would probably know just about everything there is to know in the first place.  But I do have an idea that I’d like to throw around at the Think Tank, and get other’s ideas and suggestions, as well as maybe get a couple of partners that are interested in helping me to get it started.

I’ve had this idea of a massive all-in-one affiliate account management plugin for wordpress rolling around in my head for some time now, with a couple of stumbling blocks and no real idea where to go with it.  I’m talking no need to visit your account management areas for the hundred different affiliate programs you are a part of.  This would be one place in your wordpress admin panel where you can add your affiliate links to specific ad size plugins (468×60, 125×125, text links, etc), then place them anywhere you want in your wordpress page using your designated ad-size specific widgets.

This account management page would also contain all your data information for each affiliate account you have.  It would show click stats, page impressions stats, earned money, click popularity, and the ability to search and browse through all of the affiliate offers each of your affiliate accounts currently has.

You basically take every affiliate account management page you have and combine it into one place with all of the generalized stats that each one provides, as well as allow the easy implementation of each affiliate ad into your blog.

Currently no one has anything like this.  Not even as a stand-alone program.  It would be amazing to get the top industry guys to help with ideas and getting it built.  There is definitely a market for it, for sure!

I’d like to know the ideas and suggestions of everyone who isn’t going to the Think Tank as well.  So leave a comment and blow my sock off.
