Achieving top rankings in any search engine is all about getting more links from other sites.  The reason is simple: Modern search engines place a huge value on links. The more links you have, and the better quality these links are, the higher you’ll rank. If a site is linking to you, they are essentially casting a vote of trust. And the more “votes” you have, the more trustworthy your site is to Google, which naturally translates into better rankings.

With today’s Google and Yahoo, it’s also the clickable part of the link (also known as “link anchor”) that counts. Meaning, if you want to rank well for a specific keyword like “make money online”, you need more links with “make money online” in their clickable part.  Here’s an example of such a link:

The easiest and fastest way to find out how to get these high quality links, and how many you need in order to rank well in the search engines is by analyzing a competing website in your niche that already ranks well.

This is where SEO SpyGlass Software comes in.  This is one of the greatest tools I’ve found, and it has helped me, in other websites I’ve designed, to rank #3 in Google for my specific targeted keyword.

This is such an awsome tool and I am currently using it on this blog, which is why I’ve already got over 1500 unique visits and I’ve only been blogging for one month.

Here’s a little video of what SEO SpyGlass does:

The reason I’m writing this article is because the creators of SEO SpyGlass Software contacted me today and offered a discount for all my readers from now until October 2, 2008.  So for the next week, you can get the SEO SpyGlass Software at a 33% discount.

If you’re not sure you want to spend anything, they also have a 100% free trial offer to see if you like it or not.  But I’m telling you, this stuff works!  I know, because I use it.
