You should always write a new article specifically for your guest post. Don’t just copy and paste something you’ve already used elsewhere.

Holy crap! I never even thought of this. So I need to find something relevant to my blog and ask if I can write a guest post.

Would you recommend taking one of your old articles and using it as the guest post or actually writing one relevant to their blog?

I’ve had a hard time trying to guest post. I have contacted a few bloggers with offers and have received no replies. I’m not sure if I am contacting the wrong people (ie: bloggers who have plenty of ideas to write about) or if I’m just going about it wrong.

I’ll keep trying, though!

Just had a very successful guest post over at Tumblemoose today. Saw some names in the comments that I’ve not seen before.

Monica Shaw from http://www.writersresidence.com did an excellent post on the concept of writers having an online portfolio.

There is not doubt that guest posting can do great things for all involved!
